BYK-S 732

BYK S 732 is a solvent-free air release additive with wetting properties. It can be used for ambient-curing epoxide and polyurethane systems used in advanced composite materials. BYK S 732 prevents air entrapment and porosity in reinforced/filled ambient-curing resin systems. It reduces surface tension, which improves wetting of reinforcement materials such as glass fibers, carbon fibers and silica sand. This allows for uniform dispersion of fillers and reinforcement in composite materials. BYK S 732 can be added at 0.1-1% to achieve these benefits when formulating advanced composite materials.
