DESMOPHEN 800

Desmophen 800 is a highly branched polyester bearing hydroxyl groups. It is used as a solvent-free resin in the formulation of two-component polyurethane coatings systems. Desmophen 800 offers properties like high viscosity, low acid value and controlled hydroxyl content which makes it suitable for various protective and decorative coating applications. Its combination with Desmodur L yields hard films with excellent chemical resistance, impact strength, toughness and abrasion resistance ideal for demanding coating uses. When combined with Desmophen 1100, Desmophen 800 can formulate floor coatings providing high wear resistance well-suited for commercial and industrial flooring.
