ESTICLEAN 298

ESTICLEAN 298 is based on a combination of coconut fatty acid esters and synthetic esters. Esters of saturated coconut fatty acid are stable against oxidation and avoid formation of tacky gum residues. They have superior properties compared with rape seed methyl esters. ESTICLEAN 298 is non-labelled and shows good wetting and solvency properties, and has a high flashpoint and a very low evaporation rate. Industrial Application ESTICLEAN 298 is recommended for use in industrial assembly plants for metal part cleaning and maintenance. This product is a substitute for hydrocarbon cleaners. As ESTICLEAN 298 does not evaporate, a very thin film remains on the cleaned part and temporary corrosion protection is thereby obtained. This film can easily be removed by alkaline degreasing if necessary. Due to the low evaporation rate a fresh air supply device is not necessary at the cleaning place.
