Β-CAROTENE 5% EM K
β-Carotene 5% EM K is a red to orange-brown liquid with a specific gravity of approx. 1.15 (20 °C). It consists of β-Carotene dissolved in Medium Chain Triglycerides which is finely emulsified in an Invert Sugar Syrup with Sugar Ester as an emulsifier. dl-α-Tocopherol is added as an antioxidant, Pectin as a stabiliser. ß-Carotene 5% EM K can be used as colouring matter in pharmaceutical preparations.
