LOXIOL G 12-40 V

LOXIOL® G 12-40 V by Emery Oleochemicals is a vegetable-based, saturated partial fatty acid ester of glycerine. It serves as a mold release agent for the injection molding of impact-modified polystyrene and thermoplastic polyurethane. In ABS, SAN, and polyolefins, LOXIOL® G 12-40 V acts as a flow improver and can also be used as a slip agent for ABS. Additionally, it functions as a dispersion additive in the manufacture of S-PVC. At the usual dosage of 1%, the suitability of LOXIOL® G 12-40 EU V for transparent applications in S-PVC remains unaffected. LOXIOL® G 12-40 EU V is also used as an internal lubricant for PVC. When used in concentrations up to 2% during suspension polymerization, it results in the formation of pre-lubricated S-PVC types.
