TECOFLEX EG-85A-B40

TECOFLEX EG 85A B40 is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with 40% loading of barium sulfate. It offers a durometer hardness of 86A on the Shore scale. As a radiopaque material containing barium sulfate, TECOFLEX EG 85A B40 is ideal for applications where visualization under imaging is required. The inherent UV stability of TECOFLEX EG 85A B40 resists yellowing, maintaining optical clarity even after aging and sterilization. Its good mechanical properties such as tensile strength and flexural modulus make it suitable for production of medical devices and components using extrusion or injection molding.
