IMCD Australia and New Zealand, part of IMCD Group, a global leading distribution partner, formulator of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has appointed Ryan Harrison as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, effective January 1st, 2024.
In his role, Ryan will drive the organic growth ambitions of IMCD Australia and New Zealand, propel commercial and operational excellence, develop talents, explore opportunities for M&As. In addition, he will advance the digitalisation of the business, and continue to expand positive and trust-based relations with business partners and customers to further strengthen IMCD's position and reputation.
Ryan will be based in the IMCD office in Melbourne and report to Andreas Igerl, President of APAC. His succession in South Africa is in progress and will be announced later.
Ryan brings more than 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. He had previously held commercial and senior management positions in AECi Limited. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of IMCD South Africa since 2019.

Ryan is South African, holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and applied Chemistry and Honours in Chemistry and has completed a Global Executive Development Program at Gordon Institute of Business Science Business School.
