AKROMID A3 GF 30 5 BLACK (2180)

AKROMID A3 GF 30 5 BLACK (2180) is a 30% glass fiber reinforced, high heat stabilized polyamide 6.6 with high stiffness and strength. It has a tensile modulus of 9500 MPa and stress at break of 190 MPa making it suitable for applications requiring high strength and rigidity. AKROMID A3 GF 30 5 BLACK (2180) also exhibits excellent impact resistance with a Charpy impact strength of 85 kJ/m2 at 23°C and 80 kJ/m2 at -30°C. These properties along with its temperature deflection of 255°C under load make it well suited for functional parts in the mechanical engineering and automotive industries where high performance advanced materials are required to withstand heavy loads and harsh operating conditions.
