DESMODUR W/1

DESMODUR W/1 is a monomeric cycloaliphatic diisocyanate used in the manufacture of polyisocyanates and polyurethanes. It is a methylene bis (4-cyclohexylisocyanate) or dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate. DESMODUR W/1 has a molecular weight of 262 and equivalent weight of 131. It contains 31.8% NCO and has a viscosity of approx. 30 mPa.s at 25°C. DESMODUR W/1 is ideal for applications in the industrial solutions industry that require high chemical and heat resistance along with flexibility. Its unique molecular structure provides polyurethanes made with DESMODUR W/1 with excellent mechanical properties, adhesion and chemical resistance making it well suited for industrial coatings, adhesives and sealants where durability and performance are critical.
