LOXIOL P 861/3,5 SPECIAL BEADS

LOXIOL® P 861/3.5 is a pentaerythritol ester derived from long-chain fatty acids. This stable, low-volatility ester serves as a processing aid for various thermoplastics and as a mold release agent for rubber products. In injection molding of polycarbonate, PET, PBT, PMMA, and polyacetal, LOXIOL® P 861/3.5 prevents molten polymer from adhering to hot machine parts, facilitating mold release at elevated temperatures. This capability allows for molding of complex geometries and enhances material feed consistency by preventing granule melting in the feed zone. Additionally, it improves tool filling speed, enhancing surface properties of finished articles. When used in small amounts (0.1% to 0.5%), it maintains transparency and color stability of polycarbonate and PMMA. LOXIOL® P 861/3.5 can also function as an antiblock additive in biaxially oriented polyester films, improving abrasion resistance. it's used as an internal or external lubricant as well.
