ESTISOL 315

Ester based on natural, saturated acids derived from coconut oil. ESTISOL 315shows good solvent and wetting properties. It has a high flash point and excellent environmental properties. ESTISOL 315 is based on the full-range C8-C18 coconut fatty acids, whereas the alternative product ESTISOL 312 is based on the C12mid-cut fraction with very high purity. Product can be used in the formulation of sheetfed inks. ESTISOL 315 is recommended as a component in industrial cleaning fluids such as degreasing agents, blanket and roller washers for off-set printing inks, automotive and hand cleaners. ESTISOL 315 is a good replacement for traditional hydrocarbon solvents like white spirit, de-aromatized hydrocarbons, and kerosene. Product is a main component in biodegradable penetration fluids and corrosion protection agents. Product can also be used as a lubricating agent in metal working fluids.
